I developed my love and obsession with Tapestry Weaving after attending classes with Sue Lawty over 10 years ago. I found I loved the fibres, the slow process and the endless possibilities that tapestry weaving has to offer. My weavings are a result of the feelings I had when out walking on isolated beaches, looking out to sea at Islands in the mist and the beautiful reflections in the sea. I try to recreate the scene and reflect the sense of peace I felt at the time. I teach tapestry weaving at the West Yorkshire Print Workshop.
