During my studies in higher education, and after experimenting in various range of crafts, embroidery, printing, machine knitting, fashion design and pottery, I have now found the media that I feel in tune with, that is loom weaving. I have the ability to make high quality, creative and individual pieces from scratch, from the yarn to the finished product. My motivation is modern buildings that surround us in our cities and towns. It is the vertical and horizontal lines they create that have inspired my textiles. The architecture that inspires and influences my textiles is clean, geometric and contemporary. My work reflects the faultless lines of the architecture, yet embraces the beauty of imperfection; natures elements. My textiles are suitable for both fashion accessories and interiors.
